How to Get Proxima in Mortal Shell 2: Location & Shock Build

Unlock Proxima inside the Shattered Beacon near Blackridge Pass, then build around Bio Sampler, Shock pressure and aggressive gap-closing without confusing her with a tank.

Quick answer

Reach Blackridge Pass in Fainweald, then look northeast/north for the glowing Shattered Beacon near the Crumbling Tunnel route. Enter it and interact with Proxima’s body. Her build identity is Bio Sampler + Shock, with fast gap-closing and AoE pressure.

Proxima location

Proxima is not locked behind a late boss. The main challenge is reaching the right glowing structure without assuming it is a normal cleanse Beacon.

From the early Fainweald route:

  1. Establish Blackridge Pass.
  2. Continue north/northeast toward the elevated Shattered Beacon.
  3. Enter the glowing structure.
  4. Interact with the unknown Shell inside.
  5. Complete the memory prompt and equip Proxima.

Bio Sampler is the center of the kit

Full-release testing consistently describes Bio Sampler as Proxima’s defining move. It closes distance, pulls/engages a target depending on context, and follows with lightning-infused pressure.

At higher investment, that feeds Shock and AoE effects, which makes her especially comfortable in packs.

Is Proxima tanky?

She is more durable than the lightest Shells but should not be treated as a dedicated tank. Her Grafted Armor mechanic is chance-based mitigation, so “I can eat this hit” is not a reliable strategy for every attack.

Play her as a high-tempo initiator:

Bio Sampler → Shock pressure → melee Resolve generation → Bio Sampler again.

When Proxima is the better first investment

Choose her over Tiel if you prefer entering the fight instead of circling for stealth angles. She is a good match for players who like:

  • closing gaps quickly;
  • chaining elemental procs across groups;
  • an active ability that is useful almost every encounter;
  • medium rather than extreme durability.
